This update does not fix the issue on my PC. I'm running Vista and IE7. This still works on my XP box so I'm assuming it's OS related but we have MOSS 07 and are using Kerberos authentication. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Laura

Laura, after I restarted Windows - the error was gone (also on Vista + IE7).

Thank you for responding to my previous comment but unfortunately it did not resolve the issue. I'm not sure if it's a security setting but I guess I'm just going to have to drill down further into it to find out. Thanks so much for your help.

It's possible that I added the SharePoint site to my local intranet sites (in IE security settings), which might be an additional part of the story. :-)

Yes I have this site listed in the Local Intranet here for everyone. I have checked and double checked all of the "little things" with no luck.

Please let me know if you found a solution. Good luck!

For each document library, you have to open a file from the site, then save the file back to the document library. This creates/maps the shortcut/network share which then enables you to open the document library in Windows Explorer.
